The Purple Door Christian Childcare Center has been open for over ten years. Each year we have worked to improve the quality of care we extend to the community. We offer a preschool program during the morning hours, and extended childcare before and after the preschool program. We also offer before and after school to many of the local elementary and intermediate schools.
Our ratios are much lower than that required by the state. Below is a guideline for our ratios. (The first number indicates number of teachers to the second number which is number of children in the group; for example, 2:9 would be two teachers per nine babies).

The staff is composed of individuals with a variety of teaching experience backgrounds. While some staff have degrees in Early Childhood, others have years of experience. Almost every staff member in the building is First Aid & CPR certified. The center is composed of numerous long term staff members who are committed to the care of the children.
